Hey y’all! I hope that everyone is having a great week! Anyone have any plans for the weekend? I have Nutcracker rehearsal tomorrow, which I am super excited about. I have wanted to do the Nutcracker ballet for at least five years now, and I finally get the chance. 🙂 Rehearsals are long and hard, but still fun. 😉

A few weeks ago my family went to state park at sunset, and it was gorgeous! We went after my dance rehearsal and I didn’t have my camera with me, so these are once again taken from a phone. 😉 Down below are just a few photos that I got.

  3. Ahhh, so pretty! I LOVE the golden light. What are you in the Nutcracker? My friend is in the Nutcracker – she’s a snowflake! Last year she was a soldier and one of the dragon controllers. She said that the dragon controllers was the WORST. XD

    1. Aw, thanks Enni! I am going to be Dew Drop ( she’s the leader of the flower dances ) a snow crystal ( my sister is going to be a snowflake! ) and Clara’s friend. 🙂 A soldier sounds like fun. XD

  7. I love these photos! They are SOOO pretty!🙂 Oooh, you’re so lucky to be doing the Nutcracker, it’s my favourite! ❤ We were going to do the Nutcracker this year, I was so excited, but then it got changed to The Little Mermaid. I’ve never done that before so I’m really looking forward to it, but I can’t help but feel a little disappointed! Good luck with rehearsals!

    1. Aw, thank you! The Little Mermaid is still exciting! What is it going to be? ( a ballet, musical, ect.. ) My dance school is doing The Nutcracker in December, and then Peter Pan is March… I can’t wait! Yeah, I understand. I was hoping to do The Nutcracker last year but it didn’t work out. Thanks again!

  18. Yes we did the Nutcracker when I was in 2nd grade 😉 so I am sure that doesn’t count hahaha What a blessing you’ve been wanting to do this and now you get to, YA! Your pictures from your trip to the state park, no matter what you took them with :):) they are wonderful 🙂 God Bless you 🙂

  25. I like the one with the flower in the girls hands in the shadows…! I have seen the Nutcracker, it is really fun. I actually do drama, so I have been in a few plays. (The Velveteen Rabbit, The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe). So, it is sort of alike!!

  49. Those photos are gorgeous, the first and the last are my favourites. I love the Nutcracker ballet! When I was younger I always used to go and watch it in London with my Grandma and I went again it January and it’s just so magical! xx

  71. Amazing photos! I love how you incorporate the darkness of the trees, and the vibrant background. They’re wonderful photos!
    Also, I’m a dancer! I’m in international/national dance competition and pretty advanced in ballet. I’m not in the Nutcracker, but one of my friends, is Clara in the show she’s in, and I’m going to be watching her! I’m glad your able to be in your show this year! Have fun!     1. Thank you so much! It’s nice to meet another dancer who blogs! I did dance competitions for awhile, but I switched over to ballet. 🙂 How fun! Sometimes it’s nice to be able to watch the show, instead of having to be in it. 😉 Thanks for sharing your blog link with me. I really liked reading through some of your posts!

  91. Wow! 😍🍃✨ truly beautiful photos! My favs were photo 2 and 4! I do dance but not ballet lol…although I would love to learn it tho…I’ve watched Barbie in the Nutcracker 😅😅😅 but never actually experience or attended an event based on it lol!
