Hey y’all! I cannot believe that Thanksgiving is tomorrow! This year has flown by so quickly. What are everyone’s plans for Thanksgiving? My family is most likely going down to Savannah over the weekend. 🙂

I honestly haven’t taken many pictures lately, but I do have a few to share. Spring/summer is definitely my favorite time to take pictures as everything is in bloom. Fall/winter is definitely not as inspiring to me, but I still enjoy taking pictures nonetheless. Down below are a few that I have recently taken.

  4. My favourite has to be the first one. The way the lights glisten are so pretty. For thanksgiving it’s just me and hubby, and we aren’t doing the traditional but it will be joyous all the same 🙂 I did black Friday once, and that was enough for me LOL I don’t do well with crowds. I pray you and your family have a blessed and happy thanksgiving Maddy :):)

    1. Thank you, Margaret! Yes, definitely. I’ve only gone to Walmart during Black Friday, and it’s always really crazy there. We are sticking to online shopping this year. 😉

  6. I think my favorite is the 3rd one, so pretty! It’s true this year has gone by very very fast 😀 My family is going over to my Grandma’s house for Thanksgiving! I am not going black friday shopping this year 🙂 My favorite season to take pictures is spring when everything is in bloom!

    1. Thank you, Liz! How fun! My family normally goes to my grandmas house, but we moved states and she decided to come over here this time. I’m not going Black Friday shopping either unless you count online. 😉 Same! I love taking pictures during spring. Happy Thanksgiving to you too!

    1. Thank you, Sveta! I love taking pictures when I’m out and about, but I’ve found out that I can normally get some good shots just by walking around my yard. 😀 I just look for the little things / Try different angles. Hope that helps some.

  12. I really like the palm tree. I was invited to a friends home for Thanksgiving, is that my family lives so far away. I avoid Black Friday like the plague because my anxiety cannot handle the crowds and manic drivers on the road.

  13. My favorite is the soft focus of Christmas lights, we host the day tomorrow for about 12 family and friends, I will NOT be out on Black Friday, and my favorite season for photos is Summer….and it’s not even close. 😃

  25. I love the first one. The lights woven in the bark look beautiful and your photo captures it perfectly.

  39. Hello Maddy:) My heart was blessed to see you “blog icon” as the very person to see this post. I was delighted to see you behind your camera. Reason being, after many years of lying dormant, I too have picked up my love for photography. Of course switching my way of thinking and equipment update to digital. A “new beginning” for me this year. Been blessed to clear and clean out wonderful spots or outdoor “studios” for capturing people. My very “small” business is taking root and growing. As we cleaned up the fence line, I was “seeing” the possibilities of the location. Thank you for “clicking” in on my blog for a view. (ps: big pile in background destine to be bulldozed or burned away).

  42. While spring blooms are nice, fall is an amazing time for pictures where I️ live. The colors are beautiful and the air is cool. It gives a sense of the past and family and tradition.
