Hey guys! I hope that everyone had a great weekend. June is finally here and I couldn’t be more excited. I absolutely love the summertime and the fun, outdoor activities that comes with it. I went fishing last night for the first time in forever and then today I spent a couple hours at the beach. What are some summer activities that you’re looking forward to?

In today’s post I’m going to be sharing some pictures that I got while I was on vacation a few weeks ago. We stayed in a cabin in between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg and it was so nice. While we were there we went ice skating, spent a day at Dollywood, went shopping, etc. I was also able to meet some bloggers/internet friends and it was great getting to meet them in person. This was definitely a trip to remember! Down below are a few pictures that I got.

  2. My favorite picture is the ferris wheel! One thing I really want to do this summer is go on a trip in our RV somewhere we’ve never been before. I don’t necessarily care where.

      2. Agreed! Yeah, I know how that is. We seem to have a few vacation spots that we normally visit. While I do enjoy those, I love when we try somewhere new. 😀

  7. One of my favourite places to go. I recognized those mountainscapes as soon as I saw them! I have a few myself. Yours look much more crisp and clear though :):) Wemight be moving there when hubby retires, whatever God’s will is. I’d have to say, honestly, my favourite picture is the last one, where you are taking the selfie. That picture is edgy, and looks like it came straight out of a magazine.

    1. Mine too. Oh really? That’s neat. I’m sure your pictures are beautiful. My parents talk about moving to the mountains once my dad retires. It’s definitely a peaceful place to be. Aw, thank you. 😊

    Pigeon Forge was on our tentative itinerary when we were in Hendersonville/NC on our “RailTrailsRoadTrip” [I’ll soon be posting about that] lately, but our time was too short. We did enjoy other parts of the Great Smokies, though.
    Glad you had a great time there.

      1. Preparing the post will take some time. Just now I’m still transferring my pictures to my desktop computer, giving them easy-to-recognize file names, and cataloguing them. After that it’ll be editing the pictures and writing the texts – for a total of a 21-day tour. But I’ll get through it – eventually. 😉

      2. Oh yeah, that definitely takes time. That’s one of the reasons I only share a few pictures in each post. I love it though when bloggers take the time to write posts like that. 🙂 Good luck with getting it all together.

  36. Absolutely stunning photos, it sounds like you had a great time!! 💖A few years back, my family and I went to Dollywood and also checked out the Smoky Mountains. I’ll never forget that trip, we stayed in a cabin and had a blast. Your post brought back memories of that vacation!

  53. I loooove Gatlinburg! The Island is literally so beautiful and I love eating at Timberwood! Dollywood is also my favorite place and Ober Gatlinburg is so beautiful. ALSO THE SURPLUS OF FUDGE THERE IS EPIC. Gatlinburg is my favorite place! I’m happy I found your blog I love it.

  61. Love Smoky Mountains, we went there in June too .. we had an adventure because we had a bear get in our car upon arrival … but all was good, he got out and left with a snack and didn’t destroy the car thankfully, I wrote a blog about it:) We had a good time up there … we live in Florida.
