Mountain Vacation || pt. 1

Hello everyone! I hope that you all had a great weekend. I started school back last week so I’ve been getting into a new schedule with that. I’m so excited that it’s September and I am definitely ready for fall!

I just got back from a weekend vacation at the mountains, and today I’ll be sharing some of the pictures I got. I absolutely love going to the mountains, and we were able to see so many gorgeous sites this time. We hiked to waterfalls and saw the mountains on an overlook at sunset. It was all just gorgeous and I loved taking pictures of it all. I’m going to do 2 posts with pictures from the trip, because I don’t like sharing too many pictures at a time. 🙂 Down below are a few pictures I got our first day there.

  1. You and me both on the mountains…Last time I went on a vacation to Colorado, it was so great to walk outside and see the breathtaking mountain view. Gorgeous pictures! My favorite is the one with the waterfall.

  2. Maddy,

    It’s nice meeting you and what a joy to see a youngster such as you enjoying photography. My husband and I always loved sharing in this hobby. When our kids were quite small, we got them their first 35mm camera (point n’ shoot type). Many years later, we moved the whole family into the digital era. Our youngest two took to photography and have a real kin eye for composition. I think they get this from my husband. I sometimes struggle to get the right things framed up just right. Oh well…I’m not purrfect and I do have a good time, so that’s all that matters to me. 🙂 Have a fototastic weekend and happy SWF!!

    1. Hi Cathy,

      It’s nice meeting you too. I’m so glad that you were able to find my little corner of the web. 🙂 That is cool that your whole family enjoys photography. Yes, exactly. I’m definitely not perfect at it either, but I really enjoy doing it. Thank you so much and I hope that you have a great week!

    1. Thanks Ivie! Lol it’s actually a post. XD There’s a platform you walk on once you get to the waterfall, and it’s full of all different messages + names / dates of when people were there. 🙂 It’s really neat and I knew right away that I wanted to take a picture of one of the messages. 🙂

  3. Lovely photographs, all! I love taking photos of love messages, also, as they affirm the life of a place-even if ti seems like they are just trying to get everyone’s attention. Sunsets and waterfalls are also, of course, right up there.
