Mountain Vacation || pt. 2

Hello everyone! I hope that you guys are having a great week. It is finally fall ( though it doesn’t really feel like it here ๐Ÿ˜‰ ) and I couldn’t be more excited. I am so looking forward to going to corn mazes, getting pumpkins, and everything else that comes with fall. It’s definitely one of my favorite times of the year.

I’m sure most everyone heard about Hurricane Florence that hit in North Carolina. My family lives in SC and it was definitely nerve racking at times. At first we were thinking that we’d have to evacuate, but it ended up getting out of our path. We had some storms but it didn’t end up getting bad here which I am very grateful.

Today, I’ll be sharing a pt. 2 post with more pictures from a vacation I recently went on ( view pt. 1 here ) We went to the mountains and it is just gorgeous there. Down below are a few pictures I got.

  1. Great job, Maddy! My favorite photo is the last one. No, we were not at all affected by Hurricane Florenece. Oh, that is hard! I love driving through Glacier National Park in the fall. The colors are amazing!

  2. Hey Maddy, not having to be evacuated is sure something to be thankful for (we had it 2 years ago with the fires), even when you have the cars already packed with emergency things!
Beautiful shots. Am envious that you started photography at your age, but I did painting, so we’re even, haha.

    1. Hi!
Yes, definitely. We were very thankful that we were able to stay. Thank you so much. ๐Ÿ˜Š Even though you didnโ€™t start photography then itโ€™s very cool that you did painting!

      1. Thanks Maddy:) Have come to a sort of conclusion that I was born to paint, only a “very late”-bloomer.

  3. Fav is the purple berries ๐Ÿ™‚
Nope, our island is shielded under God’s protection. We are never harmed by storms/hurricanes and I’m so thankful to God for His endless grace.
Never experienced fall before, for we only have to seasons here, rainy & dry season. Dry season is somewhat like fall just that after the trees get dry, rain falls, flowers bear and the island is springy again lolol :S
    Blessings!!

  4. I’m soooo glad you and your family were safe during Hurricane Florence! That aside, your photography is beautiful, as always โค โค I'm especially in love with that first succulent one! As a matter of fact, would you be alright with me using it for the featured images of one of my upcoming posts? I'd give you complete credit, and you could even watermark it, if you want! If you don't want me using it, that's completely fine as well ๐Ÿ™‚

  5. How scary that hurricane must have been. Iโ€™m glad youโ€™re all okay. God must have been watching over you ๐Ÿ™‚

I love these photos! Especially the second one โค Iโ€™m doing a photography competition on my blog if youโ€™re interested? You have to take two photos (old or new) of your favourite things. I hope youโ€™ll consider taking part!

  6. I liked the second photo the most. It’s great you weren’t affected by the hurricane. Autumn is only coming my way. It will be nice to live a life or a normal person within normal temperature ranges ๐Ÿ™‚

  7. THOSE ARE ALL SO GORGEOUS! โค My favorite might be the succulent because I adore succulents. ๐Ÿ™‚ We have some very similar that we planted in the cracks of an outdoor stone chimney!

  8. Oh my goodness, I just realized that I had somehow stopped following you! (don’t know how I hadn’t noticed it before! lol)

Your pictures are beautiful, though! As always! ๐Ÿ˜‰ โค And also glad that you avoided the storm!!!!
