Hello everyone! I am so excited for today’s post! We have reach 3,000 subscribers on Digital Diary which means it’s time for a giveaway! Todays giveaway is sponsored. 1 winner will be chosen and get to pick an item from the Etsy shop, The Striped Plaid & Co!

The Striped Plaid & Co is an Etsy shop that sells home decor, digital downloads, and more. The shop is absolutely adorable, and also pretty new to Etsy. All of the products / designs have a neat and clean look to them, and I’m sure that this shop will be very successful!

This giveaway is open to both US and international BUT international can only win a digital print due to shipping cost. Don’t worry though, this shop has some beautiful digital prints! US is open to their choice of anything in the shop. 🙂

      The most important thing you can do to get more followers is to be active on other blogs. Find blogs that you like and be active on them. That definitely helps send more traffic your way. You have to make sure that you’re being geniune about it though. 🙂 There’s not a problem with visiting a lot of blogs but you have to show that you actually enjoy their blog and not just going to a bunch and saying “great post” 🙂

      Also having a neat / clean design helps along with making it obvious what your blog is about. That way when people come across you’re blog they immediately know what it’s about / if it’s a topic they’re interested in. 🙂

      Hope that helps some! Being active has been the #1 thing that’s made my blog grow.

    1. You get a free entry without having to do anything. 🙂 It makes it where you have to type something in which is annoying because it’s not necessary for that one. You can literally just put a smiley face or something in the blank spot. 😉

    1. Welcome to the blogging community! The main thing that helped me get more subscribers was to be active on other blogs + posting ( somewhat 😜 ) high quality post. My photography wasn’t very good when I first started blogging, but once I got a better camera and started posting higher quality pictures that made my stats go.

      Also having a clean blog design is important. Definitely make it you and what you love, but if there’s too many colors it can get hard to read and will turn people away.

      The main thing that helps me get more subscribers is by being active on other blogs. It’s super important if you want your blog to get more known! Find blogs that you like / are similar to yours and be active on them.

      I noticed my stats starting to increase a lot when I got a new camera. I started posting higher quality pictures and I think that helped a lot for me personally. Obviously not everyone is a photography blogger but making your post organized will also help.

      Another thing is having a clean blog design. Definitely make it you and what you love, but if there is too many colors / too bright it can get hard to read and will turn people away.

      Know your audience and try to find little ways to make your blog different from the rest. 😀
