Hello everyone! Happy 1st day of July! I hope that everyone is having an amazing summer! Since my last post I’ve moved states which is the reason I’ve been so inactive. My family moved back to the state where I grew up so it feels like we’re home again. šŸ™‚

I haven’t taken many pictures lately with being so busy but I’m excited to get back into it! I’m planning on getting a new camera lens next week which I can’t wait to start using. I have a question for people who have bought lenses online.. what online store do you recommend using? I’m planning on getting a new one ( rather than used ) and I’ve been looking at one on Amazon. Has anyone ever bought a lens off of Amazon?

Not too long ago I spent an evening at the lake and today I’ll be sharing some of the pictures I got. It’s always so peaceful and I love spending time at the lake when I can. Down below are some of the pictures I got.

  3. I love your photography! These turned out gorgeous. I bought my Nikon D5300 with its lens attachment off of Amazon, but I have yet to by an individual lens attachment off Amazon. My summer has been super busy! Just got back from a two week mission trip to Florida. What about you?

  4. Love the tones, Maddy! Returning home must agree with you! I havenā€™t bought any lenses on Amazon, but Iā€™ve bought most of my cameras from there for a few years now and trust them in re to reliability and backing up what they sell – very important to me šŸ™‚ All the best; maybe weā€™ll see more pics soon then too! šŸ™‚

I’m glad all is going well, Maddy! šŸ˜Š My favorite photo is the third one, but they’re all quite beautiful. — I haven’t bought any lenses yet because I plan on purchasing another camera. A more professional one! My summer plans include: trying to complete a short story this month for Camp NaNoWriMo, reading 20 books, perfecting my photography, and whatever else comes up. šŸ˜„ Do you have any summer plans?

  7. I’ve bought a camera and a camera lens off Amazon and they did great. I haven’t had any technacal problems with eather. Plus, if they did have a problem, Amazons customer service is just about the best.

    …and we used to live right down the block from their store in Manhattan and used to go in there now and again. A few different visitors we had actually bought cameras there on their visits and were pleased with the help they got. I read about camera equipment routinely by exploring reviews on their website and I always come across very happy customersā€™ reviews. Itā€™s worth a try.

  23. Lovely photos! ā™„ I haven’t bought a lens, but Amazon is fairly reliable. Check for good reviews, and if possible, select items offered on Prime. Happy 4th of July to you!

  24. All so beautiful! Glad you guys moved safely back home! Thank you Jesus! ā¤ I love photos 1-4 , Nope never. Nope! Haven't invested in a camera yet šŸ™‚
    Dance rehearsals with the church, outdoor meet ups with our Bible Study group, street matches/proclamation of the gospel of Jesus & reconciling with my bestie Dee and what else God has in storage for me to do for his honor & glory. ā¤ stay blessed & have a lovely Summer.

  25. I really like that last photo. I’ve bought several thousands of dollars worth of lenses and a camera from Amazon over the past 5 years or so. I’ve never had a problem. The one thing to watch out for is not to get a grey market item. These are items intended for distribution and sale outside the U.S. If you see something with a very low price from one of the major camera manufacturers that’s a red flag, also if the item doesn’t warranty from the camera manufacturer, istead the seller offers a warranty that is almost certainly a grey market item.

  31. These are gorgeous! I think the second sunset one is my favorite; the way the clouds reflect in the water is really pretty.
    In January I bought a used lens off of Amazon, and I have been happy with it. I just made sure to read reviews!

  40. I see someone already left you a link for BH Photo, also Adorama is a place I have purchased gear and been happy. I’ve purchased off of Amazon as well, just make sure you read the fine print regarding returns and such because that can vary a bit on Amazon. Just my two cents. Nice photos of course šŸ™‚

  51. Just read your post. Excellent article and beautiful work. I recently migrated to WordPress from Blogspot so I have to build my follower base all over again. It will be tough because although it features photography, my target audience is not a focused one. Doesn’t mean I can’t follow specific groups! Looking forward to following you and seeing more of your work as time passes.
