Lake at Sunrise || Photography

Hello everyone! It’s been a minute since I’ve gotten on here! I’ve missed blogging and I promise I’ll try to not let this much time go between posting again. 😉 I’ve gotten active on my photography account again @maddycronephotography on Instagram so check it out if you’d like to see more photography. 😊

So much has changed since my last post in February. I talked about how busy life was but right after that Covid-19 started affecting my area. It’s definitely a crazy time we’re living in right now. Things are slowly starting to open back up in my state after months of quarantine. I hope that everyone has been doing well!

Today I will be sharing some lake pictures I took at the end of February. They were taken on two different mornings around 6:45am. I am not a morning person but I will always get up early to watch the sunrise.

Favorite photo? Sunrise or sunset? Any other lake lovers? How are things in your area with the virus?

You can find my photography sold on Etsy and Foap. I am also a blog designerand would love to help you with your blog!

  1. It’s so good to hear from you, Maddy!! I am glad that all is well. Those photos are so beautiful! Aah, that lake! In my area, things are not crazy regarding COVID. Our governor is considering opening things back up slowly, but it is still kind of iffy. However, though, quarantine has not been too bad. Sometimes I miss going out, but I have gotten a chance to spend more time with God, rest, work on my hobbies, and develop new ones. I am learning how to use my time productively. 🙂

  2. These photos are too beautiful!! 😮✨ Whenever I make an effort to get up and watch the sunrise it is hidden completely behind clouds or the sky is just blank so sunset is the one for me 😂 Things are starting to open back up where I live as well which if anything kind of frightens me as I’m scared to go back out there after all that’s happened. Will definitely be a new “norm” to get used to. Anyway, great post! (I woke up to your photos so basically that means I witnessed the sunrise right? 😂)💕

    1. Aw thank you! Oh yes, you never know what you’ll get which is exciting but also can be annoying. 😂 It’s definitely been a crazy few months and I’m sure things won’t be “normal” for awhile again. Haha yess this counts as your virtual sunrise. 😂💗

  3. Welcome back Maddy and your images are absolutely amazing!! Very professional I’m happy you’re back and sharing your amazing photos.
    Here in Malta almost everything have been closed except essential shops as supermarkets and famacias but now we have slowly started to open up again. It’s a difficult time for everyone in one way or another but we can only hope for the best. Take care & stay safe!

    1. Aw thank you for your kind words! ❤

      It is the same here. We've only had essential shops open but at the beginning of this month other stores slowly started to open back up. I agree. Take care!

  5. Wow! Such fantastic views to have during the pandemic, love them, Maddy! Esp like the 1st with the ladder into the water; 1st thought it was a chair set out to watch the sunset, lol! Either concept works 😊 Wife & I are doing well here in Austin, mostly home, rare trips out, even though some restaurants etc have opened up. They say outdoor ones are best in re to the virus dangers, but we like cooking at home. Hope you & family doing well ❤️

    1. Thank you! Haha I normally sit at the end of the dock and let me feet in the water but a chair would work nicely there too! Glad to hear that you and your wife are doing good. Me and my family are doing well too. Exactly, cooking at home is so nice and we’ve only gone through a drive thru a couple times since all of this started.

  7. Awesome pictures! I’m not a morning person either, but watching the sunrise gives me energy for the rest of the day and a state of meditation 😇 It also gives me inspiration for photos, so my first post on my site is also about sunrises 🌅❤
