Folly Beach || Etsy Shop

Hello everyone! I hope that you guys are having a great week. I have some exciting news to share today. 🙂 I just opened up an Etsy shop for my photography! I started an Etsy shop for the first time a few years ago, but didn’t renew it after it expired. Well, I was able to add a bunch of new pictures and I just opened it back up! I would love to take pictures of people someday, but for now excited to see where I can go with my nature photography. 🙂 You can view my shop by clicking here.

Today, I am going to be sharing some pictures that I got at Folly Beach. It was very foggy the day we went which I actually really liked. I have never seen a beach foggy like it was there. You seriously couldn’t see the ocean unless you walked right up to it. I had a lot of fun taking pictures that day, even though you couldn’t see much. 😉 Down below are just a few that I got.

Have a great week, everyone!

Favorite photo? Have you ever been to a foggy beach? Do you have an Etsy shop? What’s one way you like to sell your photography?

  2. Wow these are really beautiful
    Every time I look at your photos I think ‘Wow. I wish I could click pictures like that.’ ❤️
    The second one’s definitely my favourite💕

  3. Super post; amazing etsy shop and beautiful blog layout too … really calming yet professional. You will go far! I take only random snaps with my iPhone to illustrate some of my blogs (and usually forget to pop the copyright blob on them from an app I downloaded!!!)

  4. Hi Maddy. I love the beach photographs. I think I like the pier photo best. I’m from Michigan and I’ve photographed the beaches here a lot with great pleasure. Some of the photos are on my blog if you look back a ways. Right now I’m shooting the local woods and loving it. Keep up the good work and good luck with the Etsy shop. I sell my photographs through a gallery and that’s worked well for me.

  5. My favourite one is the Starfish!!!!
    And your Etsy shop is brill.. I’ve always wanted to open one, but am confused about the shipping and taxation part, since I’m not from the US.
    Could you give me a few pointers? I’d be forever grateful!! XXX❤

    1. Thank you! So sorry I missed this comment! I’m not quiet sure how shipping would work for you. ( since I live in the US ) I think you’d just have to find out how much it’d cost to ship to different places, 🙂 You can see how much it’d cost be looking at websites such as UPS or googling it.

      Hope that helps some! Opening an Etsy shop is really pretty easy. 🙂

  7. Revisited your post, Maddy 😊 Pinned one of your photos to my Photography board on Pinterest! Also, do you have an update how Etsy’s working for you? I’ve never tried it, but people keep suggesting it – thanks so much! 😊

    1. Thank you for pinning my post! I was actually just working on my Etsy Shop when you commented. I honestly haven’t been keeping up with my shop lately. The listings expired months ago but I just renewed them about 10 minutes ago. I haven’t had a greatest success on Etsy but I know many people who have! I think my main problem is that I really haven’t done much advertising or promoting. I’ve made it a goal to work on it more though and I’m hoping I can sell all the pictures I already have printed. I think it’s a great site to use to start selling your work, but it definitely takes time to get your shop known. 🙂

      1. That’s good to know, Maddy, thank u! I’ve a “tiny” bit of work on eBay but it hasn’t done much either yet. I’ve only recently started using Pinterest besides it just being there, lol, and I hadn’t really thought of pinning things from eBay (or Etsy if I try it) to Pinterest. Anyway, all the best to you, you have such nice work! 😊
